Mandarin Course (Conversation)

The aim of the course is to improve the students’ Mandarin proficiency and Mandarin conversation skills. The course provides the conversation training and daily communication training by using the most effective, practical and interesting way. Students can learn accurate pronunciation, daily communication topic, grammar and sentence structure, etc., so that the students are able to communicate in Mandarin in daily life.

Course Duration

Each level consists of 16 lessons, 1.5 hours per lesson or 8 lessons, 3 hours per lesson

 

Mandarin Course (Reading & Writing)

The aim of the course is to help the students recognize, write and discriminate Chinese Mandarin characters. According to the characteristics of students’ language learning, SCI provides materials which are suitable and also using the concise syntax for different level students. Students can master Mandarin easily and effectively in a short period and able to use correct grammar and proper sentence structure for writing and reading. Students can improve reading and writing skills step by step from 1 to 6. After completing all the 6 levels, students are able to recognize around 3000 Mandarin words and easily communicate with people by using Mandarin.

Course Duration

Mandarin Course (General)

The aim of the course is to help the students to improve on the ability of Mandarin Language by building up their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Students can enhance their ability of mandarin language by having various Mandarin language training such as the law of literacy, dialogue scenes, grammar parsing and centralized training and others. SCI not only provides materials which are suitable and also using the concise syntax for different level students. Students can improve Mandarin listening, speaking, reading and writing skill from level 1 to 6. After completing all the 6 levels, students can easily recognize most of mandarin characters, writing and reading in Mandarin, communicate in Mandarin with people fluently.

Mandarin Course (Business)

The aim of the course is to enhance students’ Mandarin language and proficiency in business environment. The course will improve the students’ Mandarin communication with others by using vocabulary and language skills appropriately in business environment. The course not only focuses on business letters writing and improves proficiency in business term, but it also improves the work efficiency and relationship with Chinese companies. Besides, this course improves students’ etiquette and behavior , enhances their Mandarin communication skills , increases broad-based knowledge and understands the aspects of the Chinese market, including economic , cultural, political , business practices and education , so the course is suitable for CEOs, professionals , businessmen, students and people eager to learn Mandarin.

One to One Mandarin Course

This course is designed for students who need flexible hours, eager to learn mandarin and want to improve quickly in a short period of time such as CEOs, professionals, business people, students and others. This course can customize and develop the teaching materials and methods according to customer requirements to meet their needs. Our teachers will develop and design a specific course according the students’ occupations and requirements. This course is to help students easily and effectively grasp the mandarin language.

Course Duration

Each level consists of 16 lessons, 2 hours per lesson or 32 lessons, 1 hours per lesson

 

Mandarin Course (Preparatory Course for HSK Examination)

The aim of the course is for HSK candidates. This course will improve the examination result of the students by introducing the examination type, strategic answer method, examination structure, examination simulation, vocabulary and grammar improvement and enhancing the students’ listening, reading, writing, speaking, etc. After course completion, students can not only pass the HSK examination, but also use Mandarin in daily life.

 Course Duration

Each level consists of 16 lessons, 1.5 hours per lesson or 8 lessons, 3 hours per lesson

 

Cantonese/ Hokkien/ Shanghainese Course (Conversational)

The aim of the course is to enhance the students’ Cantonese/ Hokkien/ Shanghainese proficiency. The students can learn the Cantonese/ Hokkien/ Shanghainese etc. in most effective, practical and interesting way by conversation training and daily communication training. Students can learn accurate pronunciation, daily communication topic, grammar and sentence structure of Cantonese/ Hokkien/ Shanghainese, so as to speak Cantonese/ Hokkien/ Shanghainese fluently and improve the ability to use Cantonese/ Hokkien/ Shanghainese in daily life. The students can progress from level 1 to level 6.

 Course Duration

Each level consists of 10 lessons, 2 hours per lesson

Level 2 or above – sit for a placement test/interview to assess Mandarin proficiency
